Ivy in a rusted metal urn, succulents nestling between moss, recycled glass pourers and a copper jug, what more could we possibly ask for from Friday Flowers.
The month of May always reminds me of stock flowers (see more here and here). With their tall flowering stems in shades of pink and purple and their sweet heady smell scenting your home. So, as May is nearly over, I just had to include them in Friday Flowers. Today I loved showing off the roots of these beautiful blooms. Having the roost on show with bits of soil still in tact, make them look like part of a botanical experiment, I kind of like the unexpected grittiness of this look. I think they look perfect in this tall jug from The White Company that doubles as juice and milk jug when not used as a vase.
