Stylish Ceramics by Vipp

When I see or hear ‘Vipp‘, I think of the classic utilitarian pedal bins that many a stylish kitchen sports. But just look at this range of beautiful yet simple ceramics that they now also do, a collaboration with a Danish ceramicist, Annemette Kissow. This collection of ceramics is just part of a vast range of beautifully designed items for the home, spanning from full kitchen furniture, bathroom accessories, tableware and many more. I love how they have used the bowls, jugs and glasses as vessels to hold flowers, displaying them on a mirror to make a very powerful table centre.

    • Nelia, I think the green blooms are definitely green hydrangea and then the white cluster ones looks like chincherinchees, the bell-shaped ones I think is the Amaryllis Belladonna, and then there is also a large White Anyrilla in the background. The Amaryliss belladonna reminds me of the pink ‘Maart Lily’ that we know in SA.

    • Yes, the ceramics are so stylish and of course the bins, a classic design that hardly changed at all over 75 years.
